Londoners getting pissed
Looking for a place to throw down this New Year’s Eve, or simply this Friday night? If you’re in Europe, odds are you’re just a plane or train ride away from some of the world’s top party cities.
Forbes created a list of what it considers to be the most happening spots on the globe, and six European countries made the cut.
London – an obvious locale – makes the list for its fashionable (and pricey) club scene, while Berlin appears for just the opposite. Its bars - many of which are open all night - boast cheap cocktails and favor the casual over the showy. Reykjavik is a (somewhat) small town with big nightlife - including frequent pub crawls and a particularly fabulous music scene responsible for the likes of Sigur Rós and Björk.
For the water-inclined, Ibiza’s San Antonio area has an allegedly out of control party scene, while Saint-Tropez has vibes both chill and ritzy. Hvar, though, may be the best place to go for charming, moonlit meals and seaside sips at sexy bars.
