Night Time in Rome
March 7, 2010 | Lizelle Jackson
During the day, the numerous ruins of Rome may seem like nothing more than jumbled heaps of crumbled stone. Yet as the sun begins to set and the ruins start to glow, those illuminated piles of rocks slowly begin to transform into the magnificent famed forums, churches and temples of yesteryear. Trajan’s Market is one such place.

This is simply stunning. You make me want to go back right now!
Wow, such a pretty photo! Did you take this with a slow shutter speed?
Thanks both of you!
@Sarah A 5 month vacation…you can fit Rome in there someplace right?! Have a blast!
@Megan No slow shutter. I took this before I got my beloved SLR, so I just put the camera on a night setting and balanced it on a wall. Make do with what you have!
That’s amazing! What a great and lucky shot.
Nice site site you have here, I love the design.
